The dataset comprises approximately 2,000 submarine landslides identified, using high-resolution multibeam bathymetric data, along the Ionian and Tyrrhenian Continental Margins (Southern Italy, Central Mediterranean Sea). The dataset represents the first comprehensive geospatial compilations of submarine landslides in this region to date. The dataset is an extensive morphometric-based inventory of submarine landslides intended to support quantitative geomorphological analysis, geohazard assessment, and geostatistical/machine learning applications. It provides end-users and/or stakeholders a valuable baseline for regional-scale comparative studies, susceptibility analysis. Furthermore, once integrated with other geological data (e.g., seismic, sedimentological) could provide valuable insights on triggering and controlling factors.

Abstract
Furthermore, once integrated with other geological data (e.g., seismic, sedimentological) could provide valuable insights on triggering and controlling factors.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
