The tintinnid community evolution was investigated from June 1999 till December 2000 at two stations in the Northern Adriatic. Seasonal fluctuations of the most abundant genera are reported: Tintinnopsis and Stenosemella prevailed from autumn to winter, Eutintinnus and Salpingella in summer-early autumn.
