Remote sensing technique in a three dimensional model of ecosystems makes space-time series of data available. The model combines the transport and tropic processes, describing the seasonal dynamic of the main community of microalgae, phytoplankton and zooplankton densities, nutrients' concentration in water, BOD and dissolved oxygen. The variation of light and temperature during the year is computed on the basis of meteoclimatic data combined with an energetic balance. The nutrients loading are interpolated from monthly average estimations and emitted as point sources.

Abstract
Remote sensing technique in a three dimensional model of ecosystems makes space-time series of data available. The model combines the transport and tropic processes, describing the seasonal dynamic of the main community of microalgae, phytoplankton and zooplankton densities, nutrients' concentration in water, BOD and dissolved oxygen. The variation of light and temperature during the year is computed on the basis of meteoclimatic data combined with an energetic balance. The nutrients loading are interpolated from monthly average estimations and emitted as point sources.File in questo prodotto:
