Corrigendum to ‘Effects of the Eastern Mediterranean Sea circulation on the thermohaline properties as recorded by fixed deep-ocean observatories

The authors regret that in the abstract of the print version of the article, they have wrongly written: “This behaviour is directly linked to reversals of the North Ionian Gyre, which appeared cyclonic during 2006–2011 and turned anticyclonic after 2011”. This phrase should instead be properly written as follows: “This behaviour is directly linked to reversals of the North Ionian Gyre, which appeared anticyclonic during 2006–2011 and turned cyclonic after 2011”. Please note that any reference to the cyclonic or anticyclonic phase of the North Ionian Gyre (NIG) used in the text of the article is correct and that this corrigendum does not affect the results and conclusions published in the paper. Additionally, the authors want to point out that in the caption of Fig. 6, “E3-M3A” is written instead of “E2-M3A”. These errors have been corrected in the online version of the article. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
