The OGS MobileLAB (left) was created to quickly install a temporary seismic network to integrate the permanent network (Bragato, 2021) in an area affected by a seismic emergency: this allows better monitoring by optimising the detection capacity of seismic events and the quality of their localisation. This, in turn, will allow an immediate contribution to the seismic monitoring service by being able to follow the spatial-temporal evolution of seismic sequences in more detail and to increase a posteriori the scientific knowledge of the affected area. The OGS MobileLAB is also used for dissemination and educational activities.

Abstract
The OGS MobileLAB (left) was created to quickly install a temporary seismic network to integrate the permanent network (Bragato, 2021) in an area affected by a seismic emergency: this allows better monitoring by optimising the detection capacity of seismic events and the quality of their localisation. This, in turn, will allow an immediate contribution to the seismic monitoring service by being able to follow the spatial-temporal evolution of seismic sequences in more detail and to increase a posteriori the scientific knowledge of the affected area. The OGS MobileLAB is also used for dissemination and educational activities.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
