The increasing CO concentration in the atmosphere determines a process called ocean acidification. This is a process on a global scale, especially pronounced in areas where deep water formation takes place, and where low seawater temperatures enhance the solubility of atmospheric CO . For this reason, it is important to investigate the responses to climate changes in the Southern Adriatic Sea, where the physical pump contributes to transport anthropogenic CO into the deep Eastern Mediterranean Sea.

Abstract
The increasing CO concentration in the atmosphere determines a process called ocean acidification. This is a process on a global scale, especially pronounced in areas where deep water formation takes place, and where low seawater temperatures enhance the solubility of atmospheric CO . For this reason, it is important to investigate the responses to climate changes in the Southern Adriatic Sea, where the physical pump contributes to transport anthropogenic CO into the deep Eastern Mediterranean Sea.File in questo prodotto:
