This study presents the results of a survey conducted along the Brenta River (northeastern Italy) and proposes an integrated methodology combining LiDAR and multibeam techniques. By merging high-resolution laser scanning with bathymetric multibeam data, the approach produces detailed digital terrain models and orthoimages, enabling accurate characterization of both submerged and emerged riverbed morphology, including roughness and obstruction indices, to support hydraulic modeling and geomorphological analyses.

Abstract
This study presents the results of a survey conducted along the Brenta River (northeastern Italy) and proposes an integrated methodology combining LiDAR and multibeam techniques. By merging high-resolution laser scanning with bathymetric multibeam data, the approach produces detailed digital terrain models and orthoimages, enabling accurate characterization of both submerged and emerged riverbed morphology, including roughness and obstruction indices, to support hydraulic modeling and geomorphological analyses.File in questo prodotto:
