One of the goals of the BEYOND project is to advance knowledge and capacity related to the sustainable development of offshore renewable wind energy in Italy and Croatia. Therefore, there is a growing need to prepare future professionals with interdisciplinary knowledge that combines engineering and environmental sciences to maximise energy potential and minimise environmental impact. Consequently, a formal agreement between the Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale (OGS), Italy and the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Rijeka (RITEH), Croatia is signed to establish a framework for academic cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the incorporation of project-related topics into educational activities. This collaboration ensures that the expertise developed within the Interreg BEYOND project continues to support the education of future experts and contributes to the responsible and sustainable development of offshore wind energy in the Adriatic region after the project finishes.
