The present work focuses on data related to calcifying planktonic organism abundanceswhich were extracted from the time series of the whole phyto- microzoo- and mesozooplankton community.The considered data set was available for the C1-LTER site in the Gulf of Trieste from 1986 to 2011.The preliminary representations are aimed to evidence the interannual variabilities and the seasonalityof calcifying organisms which can be considered sensitive to the acidification processes.
